MegaPro Biomedical" Wins the 13th National Innovation Award Startup Award

      Niche-type nano drugs developed by MegaPro Biomedical, a new biotech company founded from the Industrial Technology Research Institute in 2015, including iron oxide nanoparticles and future nanocell drug carriers, have won the 13th National Innovation Award Startup Award for its excellence in core technology.

      MegaPro Biomedical was branched from the Industrial Technology Research Institute in 2015, and the team has actively developed IOP Injection nano-iron oxide drugs. After going through three stages of inspection from the judging committee of the Institute for Biotechnology and Medicine Industry, it is affirmed that the niche-type nano drug, iron oxide nano particles, possesses great potentials in future development.

      In the future, the planned core technologies of nanocell drug carriers and other core technologies will be clear and the technical foundation will be solid. The Institute for Biotechnology and Medicine Industry therefore awards the Thirteenth National Innovation Award Startup Award to MegaPro Biomedical to show affirmation for its outstanding performance and potentials for future development.

      The National Innovation Award, with the aim of encouraging innovation and breakthroughs and the conversion of R&D companies to commercial operations, has entered its thirteenth year this year. It includes a corporate group, a research group, a clinical group, and a startup group, accumulating to 142 technical projects as contestants. MegaPro Biomedical won the 13th National Startup Award among numerous competitors of technical projects.
